Foresight, Analysis and Recommendations (FAR) is a peer-reviewed electronic scientific journal published by the Institute of Forecasting, Centre of Social and Psychological Sciences, Slovak Academy of Sciences.

The journal provides an interdisciplinary platform for publishing original research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the fields of foresight, socio-economic development, public policy and sustainable transformation.

Prognostické práce – FORESIGHT, ANALYSIS AND RECOMMENDATIONS (PP – FAR)deliver the original contributions of the Institute for Forecasting Institute - CSPV SAS researchers and their collaborators from Slovakia as well as abroad. The contributions can be send by researchers of any academic institutions from Slovak Republic or abroad. The journal is published on website https://www.prog.sav.sk/en/journal/ in several volumes per year.

Manuscript Submission

Foresight, Analysis and Recommendations (Prognostické práce – PP) is a peer-reviewed electronic scientific journal publishing original scientific research by authors from Slovakia and abroad.
The journal welcomes manuscript submissions from researchers affiliated with academic, research and other professional institutions. Manuscripts may be submitted throughout the year.

Language and Manuscript Preparation

Articles are published in Slovak, English or German. The recommended maximum length of a manuscript is 40 standard pages.
Each manuscript should include a title, an abstract (maximum 200 words) and 3–7 keywords. Authors are required to prepare manuscripts using the article template and comply with the journal's formatting requirements, including the APA 7 citation style. Templates and detailed author guidelines are available on the journal website.

Peer Review

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. The Executive Editor appoints reviewers in consultation with the Editorial Board. At least one reviewer is affiliated with an institution other than the publisher.
Only original manuscripts that have not been published previously or are not under consideration by another journal will be accepted for review.

Publication Ethics

Authors are responsible for the scientific quality, originality and language of their manuscripts. The Editorial Office does not provide language editing.
When submitting a manuscript, authors are also required to sign the Declaration on Compliance with the European Charter for Researchers.
