Concise Profile

Mgr. Martina Porubcinova, PhD. is a researcher at the Center of Social and Psychological Sciences of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. In her research, she focuses on the analysis of the context associated with the development of an information-type society, such as the development of digital literacy in intergenerational and socio-demographic comparison, the formation of human capital under Industry 4.0 and adaptation of various social groups to innovative changes in the IT context. She studied sociology at the University of Trnava (1999) and completed her PhD in 2002. at the Institute of Forecasting of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in the field of forecasting. She teaches at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava ( Methods of Scientific Work, Methods of Scientific Experiment, Sociology, Political Science).
