Concise Profile

Ivana Studená works as a researcher at the Centre of Social and Psychological Sciences of Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava, Slovakia. She received her PhD in social sciences, from CERGE-EI. Her research interests include adult skills development, labour markets, lifelong learning policies strategies, organisational development and regional and local development. She is providing expert advice to public and non-government institutions in the area of lifelong learning and adult education policies and strategies, adult skills development and inclusiveness of lifelong learning policies. Ivana led the Slovak team of the Horizon 2020 ENLIVEN project (Encouraging Lifelong Learning for an Inclusive & Vibrant Europe) POW BRIDGE and she leads CSPS team in the project I SKILL. In the past she worked as policy analyst in the Czech Academy of Sciences, in the OECD LEED Trento Centre for Local Development Trento, Italy and in the corporate sector in Czechia and in Slovakia.

Ivana speaks English (C2), French (B2), Italian (B2) and understands Russian (B1) and German (B1).
