Waste disposal practices in Roma settlements in Slovakia. Environmental justice for marginalized groups from legal and sociological perspectives.

To improve access to just and fair waste disposal services in Roma settlements in Slovakia and thus reduce health risks incurred by violation of rights to healthy environment and equal treatment. This project has been developed by a consortium of three organizations, combining human rights approach (FORUM) with extensive sociological research (Slovak Academy of Science) and Roma active participation and empowerment (Roma Institute).
