On September 18th 2023, our colleague doc. Ing. Vladimír Baláž, PhD., DrSc. received the Award of the Slovak Academy of Sciences for exceptional scientific publications.
In the category of exceptional journal publications, Baláž was awarded for the article titled Risk, uncertainty and ambiguity amid Covid-19: A multi-national analysis of international travel intentions, which was published in the Annals of Tourism Research. Baláž was also given a prize in the category of scientific publications with an exceptionally high number of citations for the publication Tourism Risk and Uncertainty: Theoretical Reflections, published in the Journal of Travel Research.
Vladimíra Kurincová Čavojová, Jakub Šrol, Matúš Grežo and Ivan Sarmány-Schuller from the Institute of Experimental Psychology were also awarded prizes for their publications.
